I've had three Beastie Boys songs come on soma.fm's Secret Agent: Eugene's Lament, Electric Worm and Groove Holmes. Electric Worm was the trickiest to pick up on. But man, the Beastie's go off.
It's funny but when my brother introduced me to the Beastie Boys, I thought they were a white rap fad that would fade. But Paul's Boutique really sealed the deal. It was a second album that came from the artists souls and resonated. Badass and fun and doing whatever they felt like doing.
Time for some High Plains Drifter.
